In December 2019, devastating fires swept through Cudlee Creek, leaving destruction in their wake. While the Vineyard’s original cottage interior was consumed by the flames, its resilient external red brick endured, serving as the foundation for a new design that honours the tradition of the past while embracing a modern outlook for the future—a reflection of both the design and the wine it represents.

A contemporary sleeve is crafted to nestle within the exisiting red brick cottage, paying homage to its heritage while embodying the forward-thinking spirit of this cellar door. Bold, contemporary, and dynamic, it stands as a symbol of resilience and renewal amidst adversity.
